Nov. 3 – Dec. 4, Festival of Trees
Experience the magic of the holiday season by visiting the Harris Arts Center's display of 100 plus sumptuously decorated, themed Christmas trees. Admission is free and entries run the gamut from traditional to whimsical. Local businesses and talented individuals and artists share their creative vision to delight all ages and interests - fairies, toys and trains, sports, nature, Santas’, snowflakes and so much more! Calhoun Hosts Bluegrass Jam the second Sunday of every month from 3-5 PM at the Harris Arts Center. All skill levels are welcome, and there will be plenty of slow jams. Nov 21 Annual Christmas Open House
Annual Christmas Open House 1:00-5:00pm. The Gordon County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee will present its annual Open House Event on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 1:00-5:00 p.m and nearly twenty local retailers are participating in this shopping celebration. Shoppers may register for one of two grand prize bundle drawings, with winners announced on Monday, November 23.
