December 5-Open House Invitation - Kinship Care Resource Center
11:00am - 2:00pm The Kinship Care Resource Center cordially invites you to a holiday open house where homemade deserts baked by grandparents raising grandchildren will be served. This is a special time for Kinship Care to thank all those that support the program. The Kinship Care Resource Center is a Senior Services division that is under the Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department. Kinship Care is a resource center for grandparents and other relatives raising children in parent absent homes. Partial funding through grants from the Atlanta Regional Commission and DHR make it possible for Kinship Care to provide services that promote safe and stable families. Service includes support groups for adults, teens and youth, computer training, tutoring, counseling, respite care, group recreation activities, information and referrals, material aid, case management and much more! With beautifully decorated trees, a fun-filled children's area, great shopping, food, entertainment, photos with Santa, and other special events, the Festival has become a community tradition!
